Welcome to the JazzTimes Travel Photo
Journal
Oh, the places we went! You may have missed out on recent trips
sponsored by JazzTimes Travel, but thanks to the wonders of digital
photography and the talents of our staff photographers, you can
catch up right here and now. Check out the sights from these exciting
jazz-related tours from previous. Maybe this year you can come along
and be in the photos.

The Jazz Cruise
2003
JazzTimes partnered again with the Jazz Cruise folks to offer jazz
fans a unique opportunity to hear jazz while touring the Caribbean.
With The Jazz Cruise, the entire cruise ship becomes a floating
jazz festival, with performances and events round the clock. Perhaps
the best and most unique aspect of the cruise is that the musicians
readily mingle with the audience, their fellow passengers during
this stellar week at sea. Take a look at this photo gallery from
The Jazz Cruise 2003 and get a taste of the experience.

The Jazz Cruise
2002
What a tough assignment?! Photographer Jim Saah was forced to spend
a week on a luxurious cruise ship, where he heard great jazz nearly
round the clock, visited beautiful Caribbean destinations and enjoyed
the great food and amenities of a very special cruise. The Jazz
Cruise is the only all jazz charter and, as you will see from the
images Saah brought back from the 2002 edition, the result is a
swinging ship, from stern to aft.

Havana, Cuba
2002
Staff photographer Andrew Lepley went along with 240 other jazz
and music fans on the JazzTimes Tour to the Havana International
Jazz Festival for a whole week in December. Participants had a truly
cross-cultural experience, as they visited museums, art galleries,
and schools, and saw great jazz from all over the globe.
